Meet Pattira “Pat”Jansawang – A new rising entrepreneur graduated from the Design, Business & Management Program, Thammasat University
From Classroom to Career
When Pat joined the Design, Business, and Management Program (DBTM) at Thammasat University in 2017, she was passionate about creativity and wanted to understand more about how design could drive business growth.
At DBTM, a number of design foundation courses for year 1 as well as interdisciplinary subjects on business, technology, and management, such as design thinking as well as entrepreneurship for senior years,offer heran opportunity to balance artistry with science. Hands-on projects through collaboration with peers and industry partners also gave her real-world experience in stakeholder engagement. Exposure to local and international field trips broadened her vision to a global perspective beyond Thailand’s market.
Career Breakthrough
As part of the DBTM BSc course, Pat began her career as an intern at FutureTales Lab by MQDC. She gained her professional experience training as a facilitator at the National Innovation Agency (NIA) in 2020. In the following years, she launched a pet product line, “Petshield” in 2021 and a wellness company, “Sa Leaf” producing aromatic oil in 2023.
Recognition & Impact
As a young entrepreneur running a SME brand, Pat’s passion for business has been recognized by Thailand’s government Synergy for Thai SMEs in 2024 for her innovative Sa Leaf product.
SA LEAF received The Creator Awards at the Thailand Synergy for Thai SMEs event on July 4, 2024.
